Sony today introduced a new prime in its premium G Master lens line. The Sony FE 35mm F1.4 GM is the twelfth lens in the G Master series and the seventh prime. Together, the G Master collection covers focal lengths from 12mm (FE 12–24 mm F2.8 GM) to 600mm (FE 600 mm F4 GM OSS), so Sony shooters who want the best optical performance have multiple lens options and coverage for nearly every application, from wide-angle landscapes to extreme telephoto wildlife photography. The 35mm focal length is a great option for landscape and general purpose nature photography. This lens incorporates many of Sony’s most advanced optical technologies including two XA (extreme aspherical) elements for optimal resolution throughout the frame, and Nano AR II coating to prevent lens flare.
