In addition to the Lumix DC-GH6 and DC-GH5 II, Panasonic has announced that it is also developing a new lens for Micro Four Thirds: the Leica DG 25-50mm F1.7. Details are scant on this 50-100mm equiv. lens (you’ll find a mention of the new lens at the end of the press release below), but Panasonic is billing it as a companion to the popular 10-25mm F1.7, which has become a favorite of filmmakers, using Micro Four Thirds cameras as video platforms.
