Fujifilm has announced a pair of lenses for its X-mount mirrorless bodies. First up is the XF 27mm F2.8 R WR pancake lens, which offers a focal length equivalent to 41mm on cameras like the X-S10. While optically the same as its predecessor, Fujifilm added weather-sealing and an aperture ring with a lock function, without making the lens any larger. The lens accepts 39mm filters and weighs in at just 84 grams (3 oz). The XF 70-300mm F4-5.6 R LM OIS WR is all-new compact long zoom lens. The lens, equivalent to 107-457mm on X-series cameras, offers up to 5.5 stops of stabilization. It has 17 elements in 12 groups, including both aspherical and ED glass elements. Fujifilm promises fast AF speeds courtesy of the lens’ linear motor. The minimum focus distance is 83cm (33″), with a maximum magnification of 0.33x. The lens has an aperture ring with a locking function, as well as a zoom ring lock to prevent it from extending while being carried.
